It depends what you compare it to. It's a classic-style first-person CRPG. It came out in... 1999, I think, so if you're looking for eye candy (aka killer graphics), you won't find it. If you're looking for a good non-linear storyline with plenty of opportunity for character development and old-fashioned gaming, it's a winner.

Personally, I really like it

It is among my top five games ever... And that is quite something. It has a great storyline, and many possibilities of experiments the next couple of times one plays it. It is not just for the sake of having a forum undisturbed by others that we are a small group who still hang around here.

Oh and by the way welcome to you both.

I have seen you U_U (quite a number of yous there... ) lingering around this forum sometimes but congratulations on your first W&W post.

Greetings Sacred_Exile and welcome to the board!!!

Game tastes can be rather subjective so it's impossible for me to tell you whether or not you will like this game. It is one of my all time favorites and the fact that this board remains so active so long after this game was released would also support that this is a very good game!
It has it's quirks. It was rushed to market so somethings were omitted or not polished as they might have been, still it remains a compelling game. It also has great replayability - something I wouldn't even consider doing with some other CRPGs.

If you can find it, the game is a bargain and worth a try! You may run into those little blips that remain in the game - but we're here to help!

Give it a try!!

Welcome to the board...

Yep this game while not the best... it is still on my top 10 list....

here's how I rate it (storyline - graphics - gameplay - challenge - interest)

8.5 - 5.5 - 9.5 - 9.0 - 9.5

(on a 0-10 scale of course...)

This game has the ability for you to find your own preference and then play till you want to try something new... there's always something to discover in this game...
