Morning euros. 9.50 a.m Just got to work and I am interviewing for a new member of staff today. The applications were rubbish. One woman spelt her own name wrong on her CV & another had over 12 spelling mistakes.

Hi Wolfie !

Litterally, "Good morning" would translate as "Bon matin", but we don't say that in French, we say "Bonjour" ("Good day").

Bonjour tout le monde !

Thanks you, merci, Ô mighty Moderator !

Give your thanks to Yorick for the oyster stuff, he was saying that we should name places as the native name them, said that Frenchies wouldn't like to be called "Frankies" ... made me dig in my old Frankie records, is what he did !

Ya, I get tired of a sig pretty quickly, so I change - must be my Chaotic side ! Amazingly, I just thought this morning that you never change your sig, Memn-yyy, a very faithful guy you are. (Yes, I know, the sash, the wriggling sash ... )

Hi Donut, and a bright day for you too. Spelling mistakes annoy you too, I see. In her own name ? Unbelievable.

I remember a very funny spelling mistake, in French - someone saying that he had been vice-president of an association, but he spelled it "vis-president" (a "vis" is a screw, in French).
