I don't know about you, but it's really nerve racking when nobody posts after me for ages... Makes me feel like I've done something wrong.
Generally, I don't tend to worry too much.

Yeah, I have found that unless you started the thread, generally people will not answer you questions..

i don't know, sometimes they do, i think it is also due to traffic to the thread, that is it is less likely for someone to return to a thread once they have read it once unless they notice a drastic increase in post count or something.
You know what i would really like?
A thing when in genral discussion view (for example) shows the name of the person who was last to post, like it does on the forum view page, i think that would improve the "last post syndrome" because people could easily see who was the last to post, especially if they have posted something and are awaiting a reply, meh just an idea.

My opinion is out there, if someone chooses not to reply to it based on the content, at least they read it!

There was a thread dedicated to this WAY way back, there was a name given to a person who had a knack of "killing" off threads.

"Thread slayer" if I recall correctly. I like the sound of it personally.

Lol @ Melusine btw!

Nah, you're the popular girl. Everybody wants to play with you. Seriously, I agree with Timber. Some threads, I am relieved when nobody posts after me.

(And, knowing my luck, nobody will post after this thread for ages! )
*whispers* Psst, hey, everybody, maybe if we ignore him he'll just... go... away.

I'm A Threadslayer. And I'm proud. I can kill one just by seeing it on the board. Posting there is just spitting in the wound
