So you're still up Kaz? Heh, make sure you get plenty of sleep on Sunday. Going to school tired is not a good practice.
I've spent at least 5hours per day in the forum every day since I've registered (except two days where we were a day). I hope this lets off or I'll never get any work done! (Not that I did before...)
As for going to school tired
*Kaz checks to see what she has Monday*
Wait a sec...
Nine periods? (German standard is six)
Have to write a protocol till Monday?
Homework?
OK I'll get plenty of sleep Saturday and do all that on Sunday which leaves me nice and refreshed on Monday

You have nine periods? Wow! How do you stand it? How long does a period last? When I was in Secondary School we had 5 periods each lasting an hour. That was more then enough for poor 'ole me!

Periods each last 3/4 of an hour, with a five minute break in between. Every two periods we get 15 mins break and after the sixth half an hour for lunch.
There are no breaks between 7/8/9/10 periods. NORMALLY only 12th and 13th graders (we have 13 years of school here) have 9/10th periods, and that only rarely. WE, as a 10th grade class have 9 periods (oh joy). Luckily the last two periods arent very hard - they are a Praktikum where we do experiments, in the subjects physics, biology and chemistry. We notate them AND come to the right conclusion (or A conclusion (have to notate how we came to our conclusion too)). This is because we are a class with a math/science priority, the other classes don't do this.

Yeah, we have 13 years of school too. The last two are called the 'Sixth Form' (confusing I know) where you specialise in 3 subjects. We worked on the same 5 period time table, except in the Sixth form you only had 5 periods per week per subject (which is 15 hours worth) therefore, we had 10 hours worth of free periods spread out during the week. We were supposed to use these for study but um....well, you know how it is...

Still, I can't believe you have to spend that much time in school! And to think we used to complain about how hard worked we were! Sheesh! I really don't envy you.

You get used to it - as a matter of fact, I think we have LESS school than some other parts of the world - France for example.
