Damn it, I just finished Rome Total War...and what a let down... I was playing the longer campaign as the Julii I was in the middle of slaughtering the Scipii, Finishing of the Spaniards (damn backstabbers) and starting alliance with the Egypts... and then it just finishes... I get a movi of someone walking down a isle and the only option is to return to the main menu... can't even review my regime... any change to continue playing?

If I remember correctly, you'll simply need to reload the last savegame, or else to play from there until the movie starts, then quick-save the game and load that one.

Or patch to the latest version, then it should ask you if you want to continue, atleast I seem to remember that it should...

Yep, that's what the original version does. The only way to prevent that from happening is leave Rome alone until you satisfied your needs, otherwise the game ends after conquering 50 provinces besides Rome. But if i were you i'd download the Total Realism mod, not only will all units look much better, but the game doesn't end after 50 provinces.

In agreement with Johnny here. Total Realism 6.0 looks quite professional. In fact, it's a complete overhaul of the game and gives you new nations (removes many of the old ones), more historical accuracy, additional and modified units and gameplay options. They even included an introduction movie, with was quite a nice touch. If you like epic battles, I suggest downloading the SPQR mod, which allows for much faster recruitment of units, resulting in larger armies.
