erm, i had the xbox version and now i want to go back but this time get the PC version and I just want to know two things:
1) Are the gaud dang cliff racers in this version too?
2) Is there a cheat to tell all those blood sucking wilderness creatures from attacking your character everytime they step outdoors?

else I'll just have to equip the invisibility ring.

Cliff racers? What are those?

Oh, you mean the flying manifestations of insanity? I do believe they exist in both realms. Here's a tip: when you kill them, leave the corpses. So that way, if one manages to knock you down and then proceed to peck the heck out of you, all those other little pit fiends will be dead when you respawn.

Yes, cliff racers are there and are equally as annoying.
Yes you can get a passive wildlife mod to prevent critters from attacking you on sight.
Try this: Cliff racer remover / tamer (you might need to login)

Or you can go into your TES : editor and delete those pesky creatures by yourself.

One question.... what's the use of such a plugin ? I too find those Cliffracers annoying from time to time, but if they never attacked you, it would become pretty boring out there in the wilderness. Same goes for the other animals. I like the idea of the possibility that around every corner there could be something that will attack you. It adds flavour to the game. If i wanted to travel quiet and peacefully, i'd be looking for a game called "a walk in the park".

well maybe, but the problem is that the cliffracers don't attack you one by one. they'll attack you by 10 or so. and after you kill the first batch, you'll be attack by the next batch of cliffracers. so this will go on and on.

also, you may find your weapon downgrade very fast. so you'll need to fix them often. if you are using markmanship, you'll notice you'll run out of arrows too often because of the numerous cliffracers. if you are pure mage class, you'll run out of mana potion and your mana as you need to cast spell on those creatures.

I found a couple of mods on rpgplanet.com the stops racers from attacking but does not modify any other creature. Slugging through racers after level 15 just isn't worth the time.

I have had PETA file a federal lawsuit against me for all the Cliff Racers I have killed. Seriously, though, I finally found a use for them: Upgrading my bow skill. You can usually get off three or four shots before switching to another weapon if you hadn't killed them with arrows. I got to the point where I could take them out from a distance in one or two shots. Its a beautiful thing to see them crumple in the air and fall to earth. Mwaahaha!

Good replies. Totally agree and LOL about PETA. Shooting arrows and killing those birds with one shot is VERY cool, not that I condone killing animals, just cliffies.
