Ah so we have TWO rug-lovers! But no worries, as previously stated, we accept all kinds here

EDIT: WHAT?! I've been reduced from a god status to that of a mere 20th level warrior - this ranking system sucks

Vacuumcleaning the rug every now and then will help quite a bit as well.

Hehehe I can imagine the feast those little mosquitoes etc. had on your blood D*Ranged. They really can fill themselves up. I mean have you noticed the difference between swatting a mosquito before and after it stings you? If you do it after, it's all full of your blood which ends up splattering everywhere.

It was fine until then, when the problem started - next morning I woke up and I found myself bitten by mosquitoes, fleas, sandflies and whatnot. I was bitten all over my abdomen, right armpit and my thighs!!! :embarrassed:
Holy crap, when's the last time you gave that thing a good cleaning?

I used to crash on the floor quite a lot, and I mean a hard wood floor, about 1/7 of an inch of carpet covering it and the worst I ever got was probably a couple of spider bites. Never slept on a rug that much, just covered myself up in a blanket was about it.

LOL I agree . Sounds to me more like you slept in an area that's exposed to mosquitos and sandflies etc rather than them being on the rug, and your bedroom isn't. I don't think rugs are particularly fertile breeding grounds for insects, at least if they're clean.

Although, I'll admit we don't have any rugs anymore since Tuppence decided that rugs were so much like her litter trays she'd go on them as well . She wouldn't dream of going on the carpet, but rugs seem to be a grey area for her. Was easier just to get rid of them
