If it were me, I would definitely add more memory, at least double it.

Hmm, you may want to increase that memory a bit.
I would recommend running XP with at least 256 MB ram..

If you have Windows XP, you want AT THE VERY LEAST 256 MB of RAM. I would say that it is worth the extra expense to go full-on for 512, you will not regret it in the long run.

From my own experience the Toolset uses up a lot of RAM (maybe more than the game even does)...I'm running NWN on XP, w/ a 450 MhZ processor and a GeForce2 and with 256 RAM, and i can start up the toolset okay, but when i try to load an already existing module (Winds of Eremor for example), the toolset freezes or my system crashes on me (the bulk of info is too much to handle it seems...)

My advice is go with 512 RAM.

Felix wwe will need to know what kind of system you have..
lets hope its not p4/rambus.

visit the site www.pricewatch.com give a very nice comparison.

1 256MB chip of pc2700 DDR cas2 non-ecc ram cost arrount 60.00
1 512MB chip of pc2700 DDR cas2 non-ecc ram cost arrount 120.00 ( suggested )

1 256MB chip of pc3500 DDR cas2 non-ecc ram cost arrount 75.00
1 512MB chip of pc3500 DDR cas2 non-ecc ram cost arrount 170.00 ( suggested )

1 256MB chip of RAMBUS 800 cas non-ecc ram cost arrount 110.00
1 512MB chip of RAMBUS 800 cas non-ecc ram cost arrount 300.00 ( suggested )

BTW if you have less that 1 ghz CPU or so, you really should consider just sticking with 98/2000. XP is a resourse hog with a kernal the size of the hindenburg.
