You are right, and your post is in the right place. This is a family forum, and I tend to think of how a father would feel if he saw his underage girl portrayed as was...with the comments under the picture the way they were. It did not feel right.
Underaged? Who's underaged? and who is overaged? Or Over-raged? We have differnt standards and as long as Stealthy's doesn't mind it's okay. Putting her leg up? Oh no! Hope your eyes are okay. Are we all really low standard people? We must seem so uneducated and sluttish. Well think what you will! But don't call me that because I have been saving up for you Larry for a while.

Regards

If her picture was not provocative enough with her leg thrown up for everyone to see and Avatar's insinuating phrases about her not good enough to wake your minds up to think that it was of questionable material...then your standards are sadly low for an adult.

I had a right to post what I thought about it, just as everyone else has a right on here to disagree with any other opinion that arises on Gen Con, without fear of getting publically flogged by the remainder of the moderation.
I have no problem if you disagree with me. You didn't violate any Ironworks rule, I just thought what you did was out of line and tactless, that's all. There's a time and place to communicate things like that.

My point has nothing to do with morality, it has to do with TACT. If you were unhappy about these pictures, then perhaps the more appropriate thing to do would have been to PM or email Avatar, especially when things like people's relationships, personal feelings, etc. are involved - rather than questioning his commitment to his girlfriend in public.

Nobody's stopping you from posting your opinion, Larry - but there's an appropriate time, place and method to do it, given the circumstances.

And while we're on the subject of TACT, I'm sure Avatar knows not to make a grand proclamation like this next time he posts photos up. I'm sure he will also be a bit more discreet about the types of photos he puts up (not that I found anything wrong with those photos - nothing showing that shouldn't). This will minimize the potential for misunderstandings and inadvertent hurt feelings (on all sides) such as this - which has been another big brouhaha about nothing, really.

This is the CNN 6:00pm update, welcome I am your host Ivan Isabizatch and I bring to you today the headline news, the papparazzi have taken these revealing photos of Eternity which we will bring you footage of shortly, but first an exciting, breathtaking interview of Avatar on how these photos were taken.

Well anyway you get the gist of it
Thats why some like Larry or myself find it not so grand, its like slapping a big billboard of an underwear model on broadway

Sorry Larry, but I thought they were good photos. Nothing you wouldn't see on any given day at the beach. I to have a daughter. They didn't bother me.

"I am afraid there will be a slight interuption to this news broadcast, as you can see the CNN newsroom has been overrun by Fluffies, and they are biting Azzy's botty. ick!

They have labelled it a Class 1 Bio-Hazard.

Meanwhile all photos of Avy's Love has been erased and are replaced with a HUGE discontent Fluffy

Well Said Sir Talesin! Ever been to the beach or a swimming pool?

Memnoch, I now see your point more clearly...and understand your concern more fully now.

The pictures would not have been so bad if the language used in the text was not so...insinuating, I believe.

Now...about Avatart.

How long have you been holding a grudge to me? You say a long time? Bring your complaints to me and lets work them out in an e-mail. You have not done so much as to ever let me know that I have ever crossed the line with you until today. Why do you not communicate your feelings and troubles to me? Why keep them bottled up? You cannot complain too loudly unless you have done something to approach me on an issue. You have never given me a chance to resolve whatever frustrations you have!

You know the e-mail and PM location. They are both public access. Come talk to me about whatever it is you are referring to.

Obviously, I was not aware of anything until today.
