Greetings fellow adventurers. I am new to this forum and used my character's name as my UserName. I originally registered in the BGII forum and was kindly invited to join this forum by Epona - for which I am grateful and flattered.

Thank you, Epona.

Cerek was an actual PnP character I created after the 1st Edition U.A. added the barbarian class. He had an illustrous career of monster bashing and was around 28th level when I finally got away from gaming.

He had an ongoing fued with a mage that travelled with him. Cerek never did like mages to begin with, and this guy went out of his way to antagonize him (made for great roleplaying).

In one dungeon, the wizard cast "PUSH" on Cerek....sending him sliding across the floor of the room to "Detect Traps". Several traps were set off, but Cerek survived the damage.

A few rooms later, Cerek responded by developing one of his favorite fighting techniques...detailed below:

Barbarian Magic Missile
Casting Time: 1 segment
Duration: Varies
Area of Effect: Varies, but usually 1 target creature.
Components: 1 spellcaster
Saving Throw: Doesn't matter to me.
Description: When the party is confronted by a monster/enemy/etc, the barbarian grabs the party's mage and throws him at the monster. Either way, something good is bound to happen.

Lol!
I have some friends that would love that technique.
They are all the time telling me of strange ways that they have found to work out their problems. This one fits right along with them.
By the way, welcome to our world!

OH NO!!!! Not someone else throwing people around!!!!

Well, you just better not try to pick ME up and throw ME at someone. I'll bite your legs off!

Oh! And by the way: Hello! and Welcome!

(P.S. - I really do think that's one hilarious way to solve your problem there, Barbarian!)

It was one of my favorite gaming moments. My college roommate played the mage and our "feud" was always generally good natured.

But the look on his face when I tossed his mage at the monster was every bit as priceless as mine must have been when he PUSHed me across the floor.

Thank you for the kind (and quick) replies.

BTW, where can I find those cool animated icons in your messages and how do I download them to mine.

Thanks for helping the new guy.

Well, Ceric...to get gifs some will surely post the links to some d/l-able ones, there's also some stuff in the Graphics Library you can use. Or you can post on Sazerac's sig request thread and tell him and the other great sig creators what you'd like and they'll custom make you a sig.

Once you find something you like or have one made, you click on profile at the top right of the screen, go to edit your profile and type in what you want in the last box of that screen.

Once you have decided what you want, post again and one of us will 'walk you through' the process because it depends a little on what you choose as to how you type it into your sig.
