Is there any way to up the odds on how often your thief sets traps. Currently I'm useing Yoshimo and out of his 6 settable trap, most of the time he does one or two.

Also, What is the Paladin strong hold? I can't seem to find it.

Ehh.. When your thief(Yoshimo) levels up, you get to put points in different skills... For example; Set traps. The higher you have in it, the more often you succeed laying out traps.

The paladin stronghold activates after the quest with Firkraag. You meet him inside the copper coronet, and you follow the quests from there. And soon you will know where to go. (The paladin stronghold is a post in The Radiant Heart order.)

But there is no skill called "Set trap" only find trap, open locks, hide in shadows, and pick pockets. So what do I do?

The trap setting ability can be found if you click the "star" icon at the left of the tool bar....its together with your innate abilities.

I ment there is no thief skill called set trap when you level. I know how to USE the traps. Hell I use them ALL the time. So there is no way I can up the percent that my trap are correctly set. Or is there?

There are more thief skills than those you can see - you have to scroll down to get at the rest.

Where do I get the "Mercikiller" ring? And how do I get the paladin strong hold?

The Mercykiller Ring is available from Deidre, the "Bonus CD" merchant in the Adventure Mart. Another (cheesy) way you can increase your trap setting chances is to save before setting each trap, and reload if unsuccessful. The paladin stronghold is available from the Windspear Hills quest...

You have to make sure that you don't kill the dragon, then get the quest from the Order of the Radiant Hart in the Temple District, and then go back and slay it. (I *think* this is right - I've never played a paladin - don't like 'em - so I haven't actually done this.)
