I have recently seen the fabled chicken running without a head. It was honestly one of the freakiest thing Ive ever seen. Anyone know of anything els that runs after its head gets cut off? I know its a gross question but I just had to ask it.

I saw once, cant remember were though, that a chicken survived for about 18 months without a head because the farmer hand fed it through its neck.

I once read somewhere that a cockroach can continue to live after its head has been severed until it dies of hunger. No wonder they are hard to get rid off.

Didn't Charles I of Britain walk and talk for half an hour after his head was chopped off?

eyup, chicken will still run after the head is chopped off, this goes the same with ducks. so that's why slaughtering chicken or ducks sometimes need 2 people to get it properly done.

Humans will also move when there head is severd off, it is known that when I man's head is cut off he can still see everything around him for 1 minute or so (then the brain stops functing because of bloodloss).
Gruwesome indeead.

They've already discovered the hormone that gives out-of-body experiences in near-death situations btw .. the tunnel of light has also been explained by chemicals. Further on, we now know where our memories are stored and how we fall in love chemically ... Humans dont seem to magical to me anymore
