This can't be happening...(MAJOR Aerie/Bodhi spoiler in chapter 6)

I don't believe this...Bodhi has taken Aerie! Argh! My cousin warned me about this but I never got this far so I thought he was joking...he said it is not possible to save her! Please, is this true? I really need help if I have to do something special to save her, as I assume she becomes a vampire. Also, I assume this only happens if you romance her, as Bodhi talks about splitting you up...anyway, please tell me what needs to be done to return Aerie to my side, if anyone knows. Help greatly appreciated.

Step one - kill bohdi. Not that hard. Youll need to get her heart, aeries body, and some books. The books contain clues as to what you do next.

You'll be forced to kill her yourself while facing Bodhi. After you've killed both of them, take Aerie's body and Bodhi's Black Heart, and go to the Temple Ruins (Umar Hills quest). In there, you'll find a statue with her arms open. Put the two "components" there, and Aerie will be revived.

If Blackisle had Aerie die permanently, the game would suffer majorly. You'll never take along another NPC!

Yes, it happens to whoever you're romancing if you've progressed enough in the romance. In my case, Bodhi took Jaheira. But not for long, heh-heh.

The romance has to go on in ToB so it wouldn't be wise of BI to script the death of your significant other.

WARNING! If you did not already do so, go back to the spot where Bodhi took Aerie (the entrance to the Graveyard District) and collect her stuff! Do it quickly before all her gear evaporates into thin air!

Yes, great point - boy did I learn this the hard way - I lost sling of everard permanently the first time plus some other expensive stuff! I think you only have about 8 hours or so? before it gets scavenged and sometimes it's hard to notice where the loot is in the dark and all...
