CONGRATULATIONS CUBS !!!

Prior and Woods were unbelievable. They absolutely dominated the Braves and completely shut down their "vaunted" offense. A most impressive performance all the way around.

However, the relief pitchers tend to be unreliable. Btw, I vote Ramirez over Sosa at bat any day. When Sosa gets it, it's gone, but Ramirez consistently performs.

Oh, and the Cubs took FL 4-2 during the season. That's all we need here.

That was the same problem Atlanta used to have a few years ago. They had probably one the best starting rotations of all times (Maddux, Smoltz, et al), but their bullpen was horrible. Unless the starters could keep the competition out of the game, the bullpen was almost garuanteed to give it away.

My dream of a Cubs - Red Sox series is still a potential reality. Well, for a little longer at least. C'mon the underdogs

The Red Sox knocked off Oakland so your dream is a little closer to reality Davros. Here's hoping they can get past those damned Yankees! I've seen them go to three World Series only to lose every time. I hope to see them win one before I take my dirt nap.

Boston is going to have a hard time against the Yankees, but I think they can pull it off. I'd say they take the series in 7.

As for the Cubs, I'm gonna put my money on the home team and say they take the series in 6.

Go Cubs!!
