LOL I actually DID shock myself by a cord on my computer as I had forgotten to turn off the power before taking out the power supply
Although the shock was only 240V it still made me jump

Wow, Azure! Is all your hair still standing on end from the shock?
I got zapped by a standard 110v household current when I was about 14 and it knocked me back 10 feet! Still get that tingly feeling at the back of my neck when I remember it. Also been zapped by an electric fence (240v+?). Had a bruise on my forehead (where I touched the upper wire), under my upper arm (where I touched the bottom wire) and the bottom of my foot (apparently where it went to ground). Me and electricity - we're like 'this' *crosses fingers*.

Actually, you do yourself injustice to put yourself down. You do NOT have a 'big nose', nor a 'train wreck of a face'. Sheesh! Are we our own worst critics or what??? Let us agree from now on that we are two very nice looking people and quit putting ourselves down (at least out loud ). I have too much of an inferiority complex (when it comes to looks) to ever let myself off the hook permanently.

I have a self deprecating nature and I can usually suppress it. I've always said that its my sister who got the looks, brains and personality in our family while I got the hair and the moles. hehe
