The joys of a blizzard?? You mean nearly freezing to death while trying to dig my way out of my house through a foot and a half of snow, and this is a common occurance? Trust me, there's no joy in mudville this day, at least from where I am standing; under a mountain of cold white flakes.

I know, it is terrible right now. 2:30 in the morning at the moment, something like -6 out with a -20 windchill, snow still piling. We shoveled twice and I'm looking out right now and there is at least a good 7 inches. Winds also very heavy. To make matters worse, the WoW servers are crashing nonstop so i can't really do much.

Oh, it was 68F here yesterday, then the cold front came in and it actually hit freezing. High today is 47F.

I actually miss snow. Other than a few flurries that never stick, we never get snow here. Of course, I don't miss shovelling it...

I dont like snow either....you tend to get sick of it, when you have to shovel it all by yourself -.-

Ooh... Last night was wonderful. It turns out that I didn't get to sip wine while perched gracefully near a window, as the lot of us from work held a rather raucous party... It was fun, even if my friend and I did have to dig her car out of the snow at one point, only to have a plow push the snow back in place when we were almost finished.

Good times.

I like the snow, but then again, I live in an apartment building (nothing to shovel out besides my car).

I just finished shovel number one. Only 3-4 foot drifts and 40 MPH winds, no biggie. Our front door wouldn't open from all the snow piled in front of it, so I had to dig out from the side all the way around to the front. Sigh... As long as the power stays on I'm a happy camper.

Stay warm everyone!

Well, we got a foot of snow here and it drifted all over the place with the high winds. The shed door took a little work to uncover, as the snow drifted halfway up it, but the sidewalk from the front gate to the shed was mostly clear!

My husband got the driveway and mailbox cleared out this morning. Now we're waiting for the -20 F windchill effects to kick in tonight. Our high today was 6 degrees F. Brrrrr!

Last night the winds were so heavy it sounded like it was raining on the house but it was wind and snow. This morning all the window screens were full of snow and we could barely see out.

Ahhhh the Frozen North!
