Well, it's been awhile and there are so many new people here now, I thought to have a go at another chain story since the previous one worked out so well. Everyone please add anything you want to it, even if you wish to change the story altogether (everyone's unique ideas is what makes this kind of thing entertaining!)

So I'll begin it:

Things were never the same for Falon the day he opened his front door and received that UPS package. After heaving the large box into his living room, he searched for a return address label, but none was to be found. The box was a strange blue and white color with the words "Great Escape" printed on the sides. After much struggling with tape and staples, he finally opened the box and peered inside. Hidden underneath a strange shredded red cloth, he saw the cement gargoyle. It seemed to grin up at him.

He slowly lifted the gargoyle out of the box and placed it on the floor. It was then that he noticed the strange flat round object dangling from a small chain attached to its claws. When he touched the object he felt a slight vibration. Turning the object over in his hand he saw that there were 8 different small buttons surrounding the other side. Each was of a different color: red, yellow, grey, black, purple, green, white and blue.

Well, I could keep going but I think I'll stop here.

"That's weird," Falon thought. He ran his finger across the buttons, not paying attention to what he did.

A gong sounded, and darkness overtook him.

He awoke lying on his side, amid green grass. When he stood he saw a meadow sloping away from him. By his feet stood the gargoyle,, still grinning.

"Hello?" he called, and the echo answered him.

A small but insistent voice whispered in his ear " Do not overlook the rodents for they may very well be your salvation..."

Puzzled he awoke and vowed to look upon his quest in a more rational light....

"Rodents"? Falon thought, as his eyes finally focused on the grassy hillside he was lying upon. Millions of green praying mantises roamed between the blades. At his intake of breath, their intelligent eyes turned his way.

"Psst, quickly, over here", hissed a voice from the right.

Falon's eyes flitted from the advancing manticii to this dark whispering shape. Behind, he could see the opening of what appeared to be a tiny cave. Making his choice, he snatched up the gargoyle and dove for the proffered refuge. A tiny door slammed shut behind as he pitched head first down a small flight of stairs.

Thanks for dropping in StealthLove. I will look forward to your participation here tomorrow. btw, tried to change all my passport blahblah on MSN, but everytime I try to log in it says it does not recognize my password. I have no idea what else I can possibly do, as I have registered anew and everything (as since I have moved, my e-mail address is different now), still does not recognize my password. Eff-it. Maybe MSN is confused or something dunno.?

Ladylicious, not sure what your problem is, try asking MSN for help via e-mail, they did eventually fix my site. Really must go now, as I am knackered!

HAHA! Gabriel. Hey, I can only come up with so many scenarios! I figured I'd add a little new this time, with a dash of old as well, and just see where it goes this time around. Don't worry, I think Pfil is not a character in this story!

So are you going to add something to the story or what? I know you are quite capable. btw, saw your pic. heehee. You are a sly one keeping your good looking self from me all this time.
