Well I searched the forums about the dual weilding and see that you only hold one weapon to get the extra attack or is this just in IWD1? Also I have a Q about the Feats....It says when you take the Ranger class that he can use 2 weapons like the feat and has the ambidexterious but when I get to the feats selection page it doesnt show him as having them like the other stuff that it says he has to start off with which are shown as him having. Does he have them or what?
Thanx for any help |

In IWD 2 to use 2 weaopon fighting you have to use 2 weapons normally (1 in normal slot and one in shield slot).
The ranger gets the feats only if he's wearing light (medium?) armor at most. You can choose the feats normally like for any other class and then he will have them always no matter what armor he's wearing.

The ranger class is not given the feats outright because the ranger's dual-wielding ability is conditional on wearing light or no armor.
Note that it is best to use a "light" weapon (e.g. something using the small blade proficiency feat) as the off-hand weapon. Even with the feats or the ranger-class dual-wield, there is still an attack roll penalty, and using a small blade in the off-hand reduces that penalty.

Aerich is right.
I have another question though: When you start gaining a lot of attacks per round at higher levels and you're dual-weilding, how many attacks are made with the primary weapon, and how many are with the offhand weapon? TIA.

The off-hand weapon only provides one extra attack, no matter the BAB of the wielder. The number of attacks made by the primary weapon, to the best of my knowledge, follows the exact same pattern as the number of attacks that would normally be made by a melee weapon (e.g. the attack roll penalty is assessed after the BAB and number of attacks is determined).
