My vote goes to Vi Domina. Of course, she's a legacy for those of us who remember Wiz 7, but she's great in this game, too! I only wish she still had her **Michael Jackson Special** Chroma Powerglove like in Wiz 7. She's also saved a couple of my characters, both with some great stunning blows to the monsters and also by being able to heal them in "off rounds."
I'm still trying to get to where I like Myles. He's a fairly good help with dagger and throwing, but he's more of a pain in the rump elsewise...not to mention his speech is so unctuous, he sounds just like a mountebank! Still, I'm keeping him around to see, hopefully, if I can turn him to a Gadgeteer. Any other views? -Saz |

Vi Domina of course. And so far, I'm liking Sparkle. Myles I absolutely hate. He does give you three jobs, but I don't trust him.

So far, I would have to say Vi. Haven't met Sparkle yet.

Hi,
I really like Vi Domina, of course I liked her from the last game too. Yes, I wish there was a way to get her the Cobaltine Power Glove, heh heh! I really liked what she did when I was rescuing her from the crashed ship. As was I finishing off the drones, she turned and kicked the living crap out of the last drone. I saw her to a really high kick and the drone exploded, it was really awesome. Aww, nobody likes Myles? He does have an annoying quality, but I've found his skills to be useful. He has high level lock and trap skills, and when given a Thieves Dagger or two, he fights really well. Of course, I haven't met Sparkle, and if a better NPC came along I'd probably ditch him. I hope that Vi stays with the party for the whole game. Also, its funny if you try to take her Stun Mace away from her...hehehe. Best, Scronan

Really? I unequipped her (Vi's) stun mace and gave her a Fauchard because it did better damage and was ranged...she didn't say a word. Of course, I didn't sell it...too good of a weapon to do that.
Probably the funniest dialog I got was at the start of the game...I was unequipping Mata's (my Dracon Samurai's) breeches to give him a better lower armor. As soon as I took his pants off he commented, "Oh thanks so VERY much" in a dripping sarcastic tone...I about fell out of the chair laughing! I did choose one of the "Chaotic" personalities for him, and that may have something to do with it, but it was so hilarious! He didn't say a word when I equipped him with the better armor, though. Go fig. On Myles: He is good with pickpocket, so I'm keeping him for that as well, but Narrh, my Felpurr bard, has 40+ points now in Locks and Traps, and I'd rather he get the skill increases for it. Still, Myles may be good as a gadgeteer. I'll have to wait and see. Cheers, -Sazerac [ 11-20-2001: Message edited by: Sazerac ] |

Hi Saz,
Try putting Vi's Stun Mace into the party inventory, heh heh heh! She gets a little tiffed if you try that, or did you? I found a few more of them in the Police Station, in the *ahem* lockers. Actually, I stole the stuff while the cops were in the room, and they didn't seem to mind! Maybe I could get away with robbing the bank too? Best Scronan

Vi is definitely the coolest but I also like RFS-81. He is a really good melee fighter and I like it when I enter a battle with enemies weaker than I and he Says "RFS-81 entering practice mode". I just wish I could have more than 2 RPCs at once because I wouls also like Saxx, Urq, Sparkle, and The T'rang Samurai(can't remember his name). Too many choices and not enough slots
