SPOILER:

The demi lich (cute little flying skull) is the transformed version of the lich, in the game it is Kangaxx.
SPOILER on LOCATION:
>
>
>
>

The location of Kangaxx's head is in the cellar of the house next to Mae'Var's guildhall in the Dock District. When you meet with the "head", it will ask you to retrieve the rest of the body parts. Once you assemble Kangaxx (who looks like a normal lich), it will turn hostile and you will have to fight it.
SPOILER on LOCATION OF BODY PARTS:

The body parts of Kangaxx is:
1) arms/legs - legitly speaking, you will need the keys from Gaal (part of the Unseen Eye quest), on your way to retrieve part of the ancient artifact, you will come across a tomb. In it you will find the arms and legs, also you have to fight a lich protecting these parts;
2) torso - it is located in the cellar of a house in the Bridge District, near the South West side of the map close to the water side. You will find another similar tomb and a lich protecting this "torso"

The demi lich is a tough opponent if you do not know how to counter his infinite amount of Imprisonment spells. To make your character immune to this spell, you can try the following (there are other ways):
1) Have a berserker in your party and enrage him/her WHEN the demi lich appears;
2) Cast Spell Immunity on your melee character and choose the school Adjuation when the demi lich appears;
3) Cast Protection from Undead on your melee character ONLY when Kangaxx transform into demi lich (flying skull). Since if you cast before he transform, the dialogue that is suppose to show will not appear and you will ended up wasting the scroll/spell while dealing 1000+ damage to him (and he won't die).

As for weapons, only +4 or better weapon (e.g. Daystar, Crom Faeyr, Warblade...etc) will hurt the demi lich.

Good luck!!

To find Demilich you should do little quest.
Here it is (may be spoilers):
*
*
*
*
*
*
1) Kill a lich in catacombs under Temple District (he is in sarcofagus, Cult of Unseen Eye location). After that get from sarcofagus golden body-parts.
2) Look for a house with a doortrap in Bridge district. There will be one more lich. Repeat the operation (kill&get).
Then go to the Docks district and find a small house with the same sarcofagus. Talk to the lich, give him bodyparts, then kill him... After death he'll turn to demilich - so be prepared! He is very, very unpleasant creature. Just deadly unpleasant.
Please, be careful - it is VERY dangerous fight.

Sorry again!

Don't worry about it! If you look at other threads, many threads contain similar information (it is hard to tell if someone is replying on the question), no need to apologize!

Btw, welcome to the board!!

Other +4 weapons? If you intend to tackle Kangaxx before Chapter 6, I've heard Flame Tongue is considered as a +4 weapon when determining the "to hit" factor. Other +4 or better weapons that you can get early in the game before the later chapters are (here are just some, I might have missed some too):
1) Sling of Everard +5, comes from bonus merchants
2) Daystar +4 when facing undead, in hidden room in the Inn in the City Gate
3) Mace of Disruption +4 when facing undead, in pool of blood in Bodhi's Lair
4) Staff of Rynn +4, sold at the Adventurer's Mart
A side note, the stones created from the mage spell Melf's Minute Meteors are considered as +5 weapon when thrown.
