Hi pplz!

I am about to create an evil Kensai dualled to Thief and take him through SoA and eventually ToB.

I was wondering what level to dual him and what weaponary to have him master in.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

i have a kensai/thief, who is mastered in the use of the quarterstaff, and two-handed weapon style. dual him at level twelve, so you can get the extra benefits from the kensai, otherwise, do it at level nine, or fifteen. preferably nine or twelve though. also, put some points into a sword or dagger, so you can backstab. i say dual at nine now that i think about it. if you can get him as high as possible, ASAP, you can give him the use any item ability, and he can wear mages robes with the ac benefit.

I always thought that thief can backstab with any weapon he/she can use. Even with staff of magi +5 wich is great if I'm right.

Since you got ToB, dual at level 13. You gain an extra attack per round at level 13.

I agree with Dundee, dual at 13th level. If you're dual wielding, you go to 9/2 attacks per round. As for weapons, katana and longsword. If you plan on acquiring a certain hammer, then change the longsword to hammer.
