Yeah I remember when locks were a free HK in BG's. Do you remember not getting soul shards for honorable kills? It took them awhile to fix that too, like months. I felt bad for the only lock on my pvp team as he would provide a distraction for the opposing team and that was all. Still, I can't say much, I was a paladin back then (before paladins were viable as a class - if they are even that now). Warlocks haven't changed much in the last few months. I think they are where they should be atm.

Haha oh soulshards, the bane of my life. Having to go solo farm the closest high level mobs from ironforge/stormwind for everything. I remember having to log on 20 mins early for the raid so i could farm shards. and pve farming just so i could pvp...lame. Ye they told us they implemented it but it didn't work for months!
Heh paladins were pretty funny back then too

New buffs to ret make them viable in pvp, and you could always spec shockadin / prot. (I think its 33 / 28 / 0)

Anyways i think im bored of WoW for the time being, great game had good fun.. But i played it for pvp and only real form of pvp now is Arena. <3 the outdoor pvp though.

Kinda think back about it, to me there's really no difference between pre-bc pvp and post-bc pvp.

In pre-bc pvp. My D1 lv60 rogue had a hard time against gm/hwl/T1/2/3 players. It's hard for me to kill them but it's easy for them to do so to me.

Fast forward to now in post-bc pvp, my T4 lv70 rogue still had a hard time against S1/S2/S3/T5/T6 players. It really makes no difference between now and then. I still get wtfpwned in 2secs very easily.

Btw, I can never understand why clothies have more hp/defense than a rogue. We are the ones who are fighting toe to toe with a enemy, we are the ones who are getting all the nasty aoe/cleave/ww and what not while clothies stand safely far far way from those nasty attacks.

Warlocks dont have blink, making them easy to stunlock and recieve heavy doses of damage, Mages imo are just about instant casts, not really having enough time to cast a 2.5 sec frostbolt but they have many different ways to get away from an opponent, and are second most squishy.

Priests... Well priests from what ive seen have 40% damage reduction in shadow form and 11k hp at most but they just have a nuke, channel and dot. (Unless your disc and nobody can kill you everr )

But rogues dont really need hp when you can dodge and stunlock your enemy to death. Every class is balanced in my eyes, just some people know the right buttons to mash on their keyboard than others.

The difference between plate and leather against hard hitting PvE mobs is living long enough to say "Thank you sir, may I have another"

Some mobs don't even give you that.

(This is for non-tanks, obviously. If you look at tank plate, you'll notice that a shield adds a good 4-5K armor on its own, and then the tank has a talent that gives him 10% more armor, then the damage mitigating buff.... unless it's a bear, then it's just a massive lump of armor and HP.)
