Everytime I log on to the internet my yahoo homepage gets an automatic message about spyware programs that also blocks my homepage...If I delete it I'm back to desktop!? And my two cd drawers open ..It says too immediatly buy there software All I want to do is download a baseball bat on there homepage!!Anyone know how to get rid of this? Thanks

If you know exactly which files are causing this, try rebooting your PC in the safe mode, and delete them manually. This is how i did it last time, when Spybot and Adaware failed me big time.

From what we found out so far it seems to be a virus that takes over your homepage!Looks like theres quit a few others who have been nailed by this.And Wackmeister seems right it looks like a trojan horse type..

Out of the past 8 times I've seen this problem, 3 were caused by a virus, and 5 were caused by spyware... be sure to follow all of this advice and investigate both!

Try http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
or search google for an online viruschecker (try Panda).

Also, be sure to download spybot, install it, UPDATE IT, and run it.

Finally, download Ad-aware, and try that too (updated)
