Good afternoon all. It's good to finally be back at work. Started my new job today and it was wonderful. Of course I had nothing to do today except putting some appointments in my schedule. I have the weirdest, but for me a very good, schedule. I work 7am to 1pm and then I have the watch from 7pm to 11pm. It's a wonder I get payed the amount that I do. Anyway, my two fellow surgeons seem very nice and the cardiologist is extremely friendly and very easy to talk to. I think I'll enjoy my stay there.

LOL mysti. You'll have to wait for Nessy to get some service in here. Unfortunately she's the *cough* worst *cough* waitress ever. She spams a whole lot more than she waits.

Edit: Hmmm, "thread" instead of "zone"? Are we looking at changes in here? Is that couch new BTW? Did Nessy completely crash the old one?

Nope I've changed hospital and title as well. I'm no longer a thoraxic surgeon. I am now a pediatric surgeon so basically I'm going back to school. I have to re-learn all that I've forgotten about surgery. No big deal really, luckily I remember the anatomy. If I hadn't I would be in REAL trouble. The best thing about our rotating schedule is that if we can schedule thoraxic surgery in the morning, adbominal (we have an abdominal surgeon working here as well) in the afternoons and the rest midday. And should I need help now that I'm fresh I can call our chief surgeon (he's the abs specialist) anytime and he'll come and assist me. If I would have suggested something like that at my old hospital they'd have fired me on the spot.

Edit: Johnny, I read your last post in the balloons thread. LLAO!

Don't be laughing about boobies, boobies are serious business. I'm trying to make a career out of it. I hear Jennifer Lopez hires a nipple tweaker when she has to perform, i'm looking for the same kinda job.

Anyway, good you're back at work again. Does this mean you'll be less spamming you won't be around that often anymore ?

Edit: Argh...forgot how to do that.

Edit 2: Never mind.

Cristian, I'm a secretary in a University.

Oasis is open for business again if anyone is interested!

At work, we've been sorting our old files and making new ones - summer cleaning house stuff. Blech. Today I dumped four baskets of recycling and have more to do....oh joy!
