I just heard that Russia will have their flags at half mast and a national moment of silence @ 12:00 tomorrow. They also said they would give whatever assistance they could.

Who would have thought 10 years ago that Russia would be working with the US and NATO!! It's a changing world we live in my friends. The free world is pulling together to fight this.

Yes, this is a very good thing. With the US, Russia and Europe combining forces, I doubt whatever evil threatens our world will be in existance much longer.

I Heard that!

I listened to Colin Powel's speech on the radio today, and was mondo impressed. The NATO Security Council just passed a resolution supporting the US, and they expect the whole General Assembly to do the same thing. They are citing clause 5 in the NATO accords. Dont recall the exact words that he used but basically it amounts to: If a member of NATO is attacked, it is the duty of all other members of NATO to support that nation. The Security Council basically reiterated that they would follow that cluase. I think the Western World just officially recieved its wake up call.

Sorry, couldn't resist. I'm just so thrilled to hear that we have support from one of the last countries we ever would have expected it from. I guess I'm not through crying yet (this time for joy)! And it may sound "sacriligious" (sp?), but God Bless the Russians, too!
