I found it helluva long time ago, when I looked for portraits and other nifty things for BG2 SoA... I've forgot about and rediscovered it a couple'a times since then... I registered here some little time ago, when I had just gotten Wizards & Warriors

Google + Baldur's Gate 2 = Discovery

Woah... almost 2 years for me now. Sometimes it seems as though it was only yesterday that I arrived here.

I was stuck on W&W and was looking for hints and tips.

I didn't relize that it would introduce me to many other games that would normally have not bothered buying.

Netscape search thingy + Baldur + Gate --> tgeweb.com as first option.
Some time later,
Netscape search thingy + Baldur + Gate + II --> tgeweb.com as first option. Stumbled across the forum link, thought I could say something remotely useful here and there, posted replies in the BG2 forum, finally moved on to GD, books and poll areas, then set up buisness in the rest of it as well.
Wathced Sir Regin ask for help on homemade kilts, followed Mouse's link and ended up fighting against trouser tyranny. Oh, you weren't interested in that last part?
Don't recall the details and don't care to recall them either, but hey, I'm here.

Posted before, but who cares? My wife Galadria and I were playing BGII in MP. She found this place for hints, signed up. She made me sign up when she got into a fight about Viconia in the BGII Forum and she wanted some support. Now, here it is 5000+ posts, later.

I was at TeamBG when IW went down, IW members came over to TBG and a huge TBG/IW fight developed. That's when I learned about it. I guess that was 2 years ago now? Maybe a bit more? Maybe one of the people who was there has a better idea of the time.

I never joined because it just wasn't (and really isn't) my type of place for day-to-day chat/whatever (most of my posts are from the game forums). I only joined when I had to start posting about Reeka's recovery from surgery.

There you go. Interesting or what?

Well I became a refugee of the infamous BGdungeon after its fall and I began to wander from board to board for a long time. Until one day in April I came across Ironworks, a diamond in the rough of search results. I roamed the message boards for a while getting all the answers that I desired but I then decided that bingo I had found my new home...and BANG I took the plunge

I've never looked back since! Long live Ironworks...(and HADB of course)
