No idea... but I've always found it kinda funny that they did (if they did). During the Cold War, then suddenly "Ha! We're on the moon!" ... so what? If it was a hoax, you should be proud, really. Making it seem like you're oh so technically advanced without spending that much money on doing something completely useless

As soon as I see credible answers to the 32 questions on the page you'll convince me that you went...

Did you know Stanley Kubric was offered to "direct" the moon footage?

Perfec sense to me. Height of the cold war & the DOD wants better/ more acurate missiles. But with Vietnam = Quagmire, congress is dragging its feet. Can you think of a better test of the long range missile guidance systems than using them for a 'peaceful' mission to the moon?

We stopped in '75 because we knew we were moving away from ballistic missles as a defence.

And now that we want new anti-ballistic missiles (a tad different beast) we suddenly are starting tooling up moon and Mars shots. Hmmm....

I'm in complete agreeance with Wellard. There is no way you could keep something like that a secret. There were tens of thousands of people involved in the project. How would you keep them silent? Don't forget that the soviets tracked the Command Modules and the LEMs to the moon and back. They would have had a field day if they could show the Lunar landings were fake.

Halfway through reading it, I voted 'Not Sure'. Now, after reading it all, I'm pretty convinced it was a hoax.

Wow, this man has done a lot of work!

After reading the article, I have to say that I'm convinced that the whole thing was faked. If these videos are really the ones that were made then, then it was definitely fake. Just look at all the arguments.. A 'C' letter on a rock? Incorrect shadows? A second earth taped on a wall? Part of a crosshair not seen behind an object? This is big! I wonder why I've never come across this site before.

When I first read it I think this one a big joke from some whiner who didn't get selected to go to the moon. After finished reading it my stance change to " not sure" since he did a pretty good job of producing evidence to support his claim.

However, if the moon landing is indeed fake. why until now, for like 30 ~ 40 years. no one from NASA ever come out and expose all those fake landing to the general public? don't they have guilt feeling of fooling the public and the whole world?

They make a strong argument, and it's always seemed a little strange to me, but being the natural cynic that I am, my feelings echo those of Wellard and Khazadman. You'd have huge difficulty keeping everyone quiet about that... Though I suppose it could be done... In fact, all the people involved didn't even have to know, did they? And faking the launches would be a valid move for the government to make at that time.. So I'm not sure.
