Wich of the two is the best to hunt down spell-casters?
And is this spell disruption of the wizard slayer any good?

INQUISTOR-it is not even close. If you hit a mage with ANY character, his spells will usually fail. I also like the Undead Hunter, mine is female so I named her Buffy. Get it?

Personal opinion ahead: I'd pick the paladin, since he can use potions, and other magical equipment....not to mention Holy Avenger.

I get it though undead hunters are pretty useless since undead aren't really that strong, not even bodhi was a challenge to my cavelier.

But what does that spell-disruption, is it same as all chars get (hit=100% change failure)?

You have to hit the wizard to get that to work, there is always a risk of not connecting (although this is relatively low risk). But what tax wizard slayer to most is that he/she cannot wear magical rings, amulets, and others non-weapon/armor item.

Well, I have not played a wizard slayer yet, but judging from playing with Keldorn the inquisitor kit is extremely powerful: the True sight at casting speed 1 is very useful and the dispel magic at casting speed 1 and at double level rocks, it should really be labelled life insurance. Throw in a paladin's saving throw bonus - way underrated IMNSHO - and the HA. All of that with no catch, e.g. restrictions like in the ws's case, attached.

So long !

For wizard slayer you not only get spell disruption, but also cumulative 10% casting failure. Which means if you hit a mage or cleric wearing iron/stone/whatever skin, their spells will be interrupted, and with each additional successful hit the penalty will increase. However, drawbacks are also significant - no potions, no cloaks/girdles/gauntlets/rings/amulets.
You also get some magic resistance, which is handy, but Holy Avenger gives ypu better protection. Plus it dispells magic.
So, if you want a more powerful character, it is probably better go with paladin.

So the only good thing about a wizard slayer is some small magic resistance?

Spell disruption (it takes time to build up) and magic resistance is good. The magical item restrictions (including potions) is what turned me off. (of course, this is personal opinion)
