Hmm what is the best shield to use in the game??
So far I like the Harmony+2 out of all the shields the best I know it dosent have the best AC defense bonuses but its immune to confusion, hold, charm, domination ect... seems to be a powerhouse weapon? Could someone please tell me if I am wrong? And the pro's of con's of all shields out there, including TOB if you wish! Is this the best soloing shield out there? |

The best shield I've found so far(Non-ToB) is the Reflection Shield in the Adventurer's Mart, it improves AC by 3 and reflect's spells and arrows.

In SoA the two best shields are:
1. Sentinel +4. AC +5 2. Shield of Balduran. AC +4, reflectbeholder rays, but -1 to Strength. ------------------ You cannot escape the inevitable. |

I like to swap out shields for different situations. Harmony is good all around. Balduran for beholders (hehe duh!). I tend to carry a handful of em...

Who needs to reflect beholder rays (or any magic ATTACK) with the shield of baldauron when you have the Cloak of Mirroring.
I would stick to the Shield of Harmony +2, I used it from the point I got it to when I finished the game. |

Sentinel is not that great. It has no other abilities than extra AC. The Shield of Harmony is the best shield in the game...
