When I first got on the net I didn't even think about chatting with anyone. I was still under the "net people are freaks and weirdos" popular delusion. I think the first thing I did was go on several websites of my favorite bands at that time, to just read info on the band, and see if there were any plans of making another CD, etc. Ironworks in 2000 was my very first time venturing out to actually talk to people on the net, and I'm glad it was, because it totally shattered my delusions. I chanted "Ia, ia, Cthulhu fhtagn." Then I sacrificed a goat.

Either that or I did something school-related, at school. We got IBMs that were connected to the net when I was in... 4th grade, was it? So could be that. Nothing too special.

Or maybe I sacrificed a goat to my school... Always hard to remember those sorts of things.

Sort of a "I had to walk six miles in the snow" kind of tale eh grandpa Animal?

Come on Stormy, enlighten us

Screen names, I would have to say I had one of the most odd screen names of anyone I saw at the time when I went to Liveuniverse (then again it was japanese), before I adopted this name of course. But, unless I run into an old friend of mine from those chat rooms, no one's finding out

my husband used to call me that...not for anything really bad or anything, I just seem to get animal nicknames all the time, and the rabbit just stuck longer than any of the others a friend on the net used to call me bunny alot, not sure why really, but she was a good friend...ok, that really does not answer the question does it? never mind
