*Doh* Me in my infinite wisdom, the monsters won't jump me till I see them walked right up to a cave with a lot of loud noises coming out of it...total Party Kill, I've finally been humbled...by a white dragon
But on another note now I know why my DM always chuckled when I wanted to take my 5th level characters dragon hunting.

I had more trouble with this dragon's mate outside the cave because the game ambushes you. I ended up being surrounded by the White Dragon and a small handful of white wyrms. I ended up getting out of that battle without any losses, but it was close. Being surrounded without any buffing or summoned allies left my party very exposed and vulnerable.
Just have those healing potions at hand and throw everything at taking down the dragon. The wyrms were nasty, but not as bad as the dragon. Fun battle. |
