While waiting for Kaz's familiar, Neb told his familiar to fly upwards and keep a look out for any assasins or for Kaz's friends.

Finally, a black shape zoomed down from the sky and landed in front of Kaz. "Neb, this is Aerynkoryk," Kaz said, picking up the black raven. It blinked its silver eyes at Neb. "Aerynkoryk, could you see if you can find Mistral, Larry, Spree or... never mind," she sighed as the raven, not waiting for her to finish, flew upwards with a loud caw. "He should be back soon."

Yes, almost. It still hurts every now and then, but it's almost gone. My cheek is still a tiny bit swollen and looks very bruised, but I can ignore it. I should be as good as new in another week or so... and then in a few months out goes the next tooth
