Well, that sure is an elminster'ish photo!

DJG, do you want an animated image of Irenicus?

Just make sure that you eventually download the image and upload it to your own website. Otherwise you are committing what is called bandwidth theft. In other words, every time someone loads your signature you will be using up some of the website resources where the portrait is hosted. In terms of internet etiquette you need to put the image on your own website (or someone here might volunteer to host the image for you). And in some cases, bandwidth theft is illegal.

Also, be careful about using copyrighted artwork. There've been some problems (mostly with other websites, but some here -- talk to Turbovee if you want an ear full) with using artwork without the artist's expressed permission.

And fancier stuff like colours won't work as there isn't a current UBB code for it - just HTML.

So having a picture is fine and fine enough.

I've had "this" signature since the very first TGEWEB Forum (in purple and white text - remember?)

It has grown with me so much - and so many people like it, that I'm actually rather hard pushed to make any changes
