In the Nine Hells, are you supposed to kill him? I'm aiming for the good path. ^_^

No matter what you do, no matter what you say, you have to kill him. Be careful though, he is a lot more powerful than in BG1, he has over 500 hit points! Use a lot of protection spells, offensive spells won't work much against this guy cuz his magic resistance is very high.

You have to kill him either way...if you're aiming for the good path then do not give in to your rage when he tries to get you to...

Yeah--as if turning into the Slayer would improve your odds in any way, as if I was ever tempted to turn into the Slayer in the first place.

Sarevok uses normal weaponary... ...

Cast either a Skeleton Warrior or a Fire Elemental, then sit back and enjoy the show.

Or, if you have ToB, summon a Planetar instead. It will chop Sarevok into pieces in no time.

A tad overkill, but yeah. That would work too.

i've heard rumour that if you let him goad you 'a little' by 'strengthening' your resolve to his assault -
you gain stat point{s}..?
this has got to be a myth..
