Baldurs Gate PS2

Anybody heard anything about the PS2 game for Baldur's Gate
Dark Alliance?
I have been thinking about getting a PS2, and this may push me
over the top.

This is Interplay's official page and has some screenshots, background info and news. It seem's that tieing it in with the Baldur's gate series is just a marketing cash in though as it has little to do with the PC series and even the game mechanics appear totally different! Still, if Black Isle are behind it I'll give it a go.

Thanks for the page Kinslayer. Of course, now I have some problems.
1. They say it has nothing to do with the PC.
2. They are bashing the computer by saying the PS2 is better.
3. They are putting the game on a DVD, and claiming that makes it better.

If you want to advertise a game you should say good stuff about the game, not bad stuff about other games. I read that the character saving his sister will keep a war from happening. Man, I thought being a child of a god was pushing it a little. Ha ha.
