But can a banned individual still view the forums? An example of which being: Could the recently-banned -vixen read all of the posts concerning the debacle her... 'enthusiastic' personality caused?
I don't think -vixen was actually banned, BTW.
Mark
Oh yes. She was.

Istaron made a lot of unsuitable comments and refused to apologize for them. In addition to that he posted an almost-porn link.

People generally follow the rules here - that's because the rules are there to make sure everyone has a good time and posts in a safe and friendly environment. In a nutshell, the rules are essentially about being polite and courteous to others here.

The most broken rule is probably spamming - as long as it doesn't get out of control, it's not a major problem.

I got a question. If a person ask to be ban because he/she has spend too much time on the Ironworks and has caused his/her internet bill and telephone bill spiraling upwards. will the moderators grant his/her wish and ban him/her?

I have never heard of such an instance. I should hope that our members here would have enough self-control to know when enough was enough and back off themselves.

If one is truly addicted to the Internet, banning them from one forum won't help; they'll find another. That's like asking a person who runs a liquor store to stop selling to you, only to find that the next day you're going to the liquor store down the road.

I stand corrected.

Mark
It is possible she is merely "suspended", that would explain why her account wasn't fragged (which would have caused the "unregistered" part to show).
I can assure all who have enquired that she is most assuredly "banned". She will not be back.
