Are kensia's any good? i read there dissadvantages and really didnt care about the no missle weapons, but no armor/belts/helms/or golves!? are they worth it?

Well Kensai CAN wear belts but yeah that other stuff is a no go.
Kensai are ok on their own but get VERY powerful when dualed to some other classes. Thieves and mages are especially great since both classes offer ways around AC issues. Also the bonuses to thaco0 and damage are tremendous for dual classing. Dual class at level 12 and it would be like dualing at level 16 in terms of thaco0 if you were a pure fighter.

Absolutely useless...

Just kidding. Their Kai ability is awesome. Everyone in the
party does max. damage. If you dual them to a Thief, Kai and
backstab, it's quite the combo. (Try one for yourself to be
sure though.) I might be lying.

All of then are speaking of the truth. Kensais are for dualling... well, it is recommended because they are to become very weak in the latter part... come to think of it, not really. What will really happen in the latter part is, the Kensai will probably kick ass. Speed and power! Although protection, not that good. That's whyt they are called sword saints... BEfore the enemy could react, they are already dead.

thancks for the info! Iguess I'll try a Kensai after i beat SoA with my pure fighter, and just for variaty, I'l do anther class first too. Also, does anyone actually care that they cant use missle weapons? I could care less!
