What is not true? ToB is an expansion of SoA, meaning it adds a portion to the game, allowing you to travel back and forth.

I heard some bloke say you have to go through watchers keep or sudenallasar(what is it with elvish spelling). this self-same bloke also thinks Robes of the Good Archmagi are the best in game, so i woudnt trust him.
Personally i wish it had all been on one map like with TotSC |

The only thing the two have in common is Watcher's Keep. You can access it both in SoA & ToB. You could, for example, clear out a couple of levels in WK, finish SoA, start ToB and continue where you left off in WK (not immediately though).
There is no *LEGIT* way to get back to any other area in SoA such as Trademeet or Athkatla once you've started ToB. You could CLUAConsole though, but I don't know whether it'll work. |

Ok, let me see if i got this right.
Once you get into TOB, the only area you can access in SOA is Watchers Keep. Everything else is a new place, TOB. Right? |

It is UNTRUE that you can go back to SoA after venturing into ToB. The only exception to this is the watchers keep area which is really not part of the story its just a new area added. The entire ToB plot takes place after the conclusion of SoA and takes you into a new land etc etc that you cannot leave to go back to athkatla.
