I'm 36 Dept of Defense employee. I'm married with a 3 yr old daughter. I love Sports, Fishing and am a History buff. This is the first RPG I have ever played and enjoy it.

Ok, my turn--
I'm 41, married for 4 years to a terrific guy. We live near the Chesapeake Bay with our dog Mack and our cat Posie. No kids, but hubby has a big family, so there's always a spare niece or nephew to borrow for a weekend. I run a cafe at a marine science research center; hubby drives a freight train. I love salt-water fishing, golf, bowling, camping, and bluegrass music. I don't play rpgs very much--I used to have an Aptiva 486 that was only big enough for work stuff, so I had to content myself with Final Fantasy for Gameboy. Then on my nice pc I picked W&W when I ran out of Final Fantasy stuff.
Hmmm, what else? I'm totally addicted to Survivor, hubby and I both sing and write songs, I'm a good cook (but a lousy housekeeper!), and I like gardening.

Ahh... who am I? some days I wonder myself.

I'm a 36-year-old male living in western Michigan. Married for eleven years now, with a wife who doesn't get computers and two kids that range from lovable to deplorable on a daily basis. The creator makes 'em cute so's you don't get rid of them before it's time...

I work with computers as a technical and applications consultant, and do a fair amount of public speaking at user groups around the country and through Toastmasters (the best way to become a better communicator and leader, IMNSHO). I speak French well enough to pass for a native, Spanish well enough to pass by, and German well enough to pass a beer.

I'm an avid RPGer, although, like some of the other folks here, I find I don't have time or energy to get excited about every new game that comes out. When I find a working series, I stick with it. Might and Magic I was my first computer RPG (played on an Apple ][e), and I've played almost every one since (not sure if I ever completed 2 or 3). I'm finishing up MM9 right now, and feel a little depressed, since it's lost some of its magic over the years.

Played Bard's Tale, Wizardry, and Ultima besides, which led me to W&W when it came out. Never much cared for strategy games, preferring RPGs that made you think. I still remember mapping out the magic square dungeon in MM1, and I remember a friend's wife watching old Star Trek episodes to find the answer to Og's question.

Aside from that, I occasionally play softball, try to rollerblade, and keep busy with the family. Game time is the hours after everyone goes to bed, which has been just a wee bit too much lately -- the kids expect me up in the morning when they wake up, no matter what (or when!).

And my name, Bungleau, came from an old character, a thief who wasn't particularly skilled. Rather than call him Bungle, I decided to francify him by adding water, and presto: Bungleau, pronounced like the English word bungalow.

Leastways, that's how he says it, and he's not such an unskilled thief or fighter any more, so I follow his lead.

Let's see here... I'm 5'6 AND A QUARTER (I'm a 17 yr. old male so I'm short enough for my age that the quarter counts! ) I'm totally addicted to RPG's (many, many different RPG's), obsessed with computers, I'm homeschooled in 11th grade, father has Multiple Sclerosis, go to church youth group whenever possible, people say I'm weird but in a 'good' way (not sure exactly what that means but I don't really care ), have a dog, have this annoying habit of not checking this board enough , read fantasy novels (Tolkien rules!), my favorite movie so far is LOTR: Fellowship of the Rings followed by the Matrix, favorite food is chow mein, ummm....... Can't really think of too much else to say... Well, I suppose that's enough Oh, and I agree with Loumistro, I feel awful young here!

I'll flip it around, Jafin...

I've been starting to feel awful old around the gaming world lately. Enjoy youth and the opportunity it presents to do things like all-night gaming sessions without really having to pay the piper in the morning.

'Cause the price you pay now is nothing compared to the price you pay later.

I get that same problem. Everone says that i am weird in a good way. And that I am
"A PUNK with the heart and sweetness of a NERD"
my last girlfriend said that. well the one that I had 8 days ago. not yesterday. cause now I have a new one.

I guess I am kinda a player.

But I dumped the last one with good reason. I was starting to like a different girl and I don't want to date a girl and have someone else on my mind. That would hurt her and it hurts me to think about it. So now I am going out with that girl that I liked.
Well, you're not really a player, at least you go out with people you like, and you break up with them for a reason other than "I'm bored, seeya!"

And Bungleau, yeah, the all night gaming sessions are indeed rather fun (though I don't usually stay up past 3:00 AM ). Latest night was about 5:00 AM or so, playing Diablo II on Battle.net. Very fun, especially when you're all running around quoting Monty Python and the Holy Grail "Brave Sir Robin ran away! Brave Brave Sir Robin!" LOL, I love that
