That's a pretty tough battle, especially if you have less than six characters in your party. I just recently completed that fight in the multi-player game I'm in, though, and we had to re-try it several times before we could win the battle without anyone dying (there are only 3 of us).
My character (a fighter/thief) stealthed up to where the wizards and giants were standing, just so we knew what we were dealing with. Our cleric then cast Animate Dead until she was at her summoning limit, giving us 6 skels/zombies. With me spotting, the Cleric sent the undead at our enemies, getting the giants' attention and causing the wizards to waste a few of their spells. While they were occupied, our 3rd party member (Fighter/thief/mage) and myself used our bows to take out the wizards, while our cleric (actually a multi-classed Ranger/Cleric) cast Entangle on the giants, making it more difficult for them to get at the undead, thus keeping the undead "alive" longer so the giants wouldn't come after us. I believe we were able to get rid of the wizards and 1 or 2 of the giants before we had to exit the Temple, rest outside, and come back in for the rest of them. Basically, what you should do is cast Animate Dead, and send them after the monsters (using a thief to spot them), and while the giants are distracted, take out the mages first (preferrably with missile weapons). Without magic support, the giants should go down easily to your fighters. |

what is animated undead? by the way, what is turn undead, my paladine and cleric seem to have no use of that.anyway i just made it to the second level MEN! that is worst!! hehe
never mind i think i can deal with that one step at a time but i do have a question , i found a magic boot saying it could make the wearer blur once a day . that i understand but then does once a day mean there is no limit to it, some magic item can only be use 10-15 time.thank for replying |

I found those boots once, so I know just where you got them. Yes, I believe they have an unlimited number of charges. "Once a day" really means you can use them again after you rest. You don't have to wait 24 hours.

Use turn undead when faced with undead foes. If your high enough level they will be forced to flee or be destroyed. A good trick to defeat a lot of them is to cast sanctuary on your cleric and then move about them while turning. It takes a little time to kick in.... Cheers
