Thought some of you may be interested in this...it's a Macromedia Flash site that lets you generate your PC's (or NPC's) full body pics. You get to choose several different expressions, hair styles, clothing and armor, weapons, shields, and/or spell effects. The colors are kind of cheesy, but you can do the pics in B&W and download them and colorize them elsewhere, like Paint Shop Pro or MS Paint. These are great for character sheets for both table-top games and CRPG's.

Anyway, the site is called Heromachine, and it's free. I think they'll be adding more options later.

If you want to check out a few, I created a few of them on the fly just to see how they looked. They're a bit big, so I have them as links rather than as inline pictures here.

Fighter
Wizard
Bard
Assassin
Thief

Have fun!

Downloading it even now. I am always looking for a faster easier way to get character drawings done, since I am the one usually asked. Thanks for the link and I plan on giving it a good work out.

Hehe, nifty one, though I have to grumblingly admit I missed a couple of things, but a great way to export and open to Illustrator!

Thanks for the link Saz!

Yes, it's pretty neat...only thing is, they don't have dwarf or halfling mods there yet, but you can do humans and elves. Since it seems to be a new site, they're probably in the testing phase, and will probably add those later. It looks like they'll have a lot more spaces to add new mods as they continue.

Cheers,
-Saz
