hello everyone, havent posted in a while because of civ3 . ok heres my question:

i have a huge empire compared to others, and my government is democracy (which says minimal corruption). right now, many ( and i mean a loooot) of my cities have only 1 shield (and the rest corupted shields) and one gold (... the rest corrupted), and i have no science produced.

is there any way to cure this problem?

I had the same problem. The further away from your capital your empire is, the more corruption and wasted production you will experience. Building courthouses will minimize some of this wastage. If you have the Forbidden Palace small wonder towards the extremities of your empire that will also help with wastage and corruption.
