Universal International Pictures have released the first 9 minutes online. Check it out and if you like what you see, go see it this weekend in the theaters!:

I saw it last night after watching all fifteen episodes on DVD! I loved it, and thought the time passed too quickly because the action and all was really well-timed. I would love to see that last scene again at the end when her brother gets shot and she decides to take action. That was when everybody in the audience jumped forward in their seats and said, "This is what I came for!"
The humor in the movie was also brilliantly done.

I thought the reavers were very effective in portraying how horrifying they looked by not spending alot of time showing them, when you did see one for the most part it was very brief. Keeping them largely offscreen helped keep their mystique and the air of unknowable menace.

I enjoyed it somewhat but many people who were not fans of the tv show found it to be "boring".

I never saw the show and I found the movie very entertaining. By the time it was over I almost mistook it for a comedy .

"Oh noes! Teh reavers are EEEEEEEVIL!"
Sentiment agreed. That and the vibrating object comment kinda ruined the serious atmosphere. |
