Anyone played by a single char?

It's interesting, does anyone played the game with a single char? It's rather nice, because all EXP is going to one char, and he(she) progresses very quickly. I am in the Serpent Temple right now, and in this early point of game I have a char, who is: (Level 10 Wizard)-->(Level 10 Warlock)-->Level 9 Paladin. And he really kicks some major ass. That Amazon Mantraps, which are rather hard to defeat for a party of 6 chars are of no problem for him (even 3 of them in one time).

So, has anybody such a character, and could you tell me, what next class I should take, after paladin?
