Does anyone know if wasting disease is curable? I've got the restore health spell, but that doesn't seem to do anything (except heal the character 7-10 hp).

Yes the disease is cureable. My wizard has it in the Stout Mines, and when I complained, someone told me after it was cured all your stats were restored. So do not fret. Just go to the Church and have your rites on whomever needs it.

According to the manual RESTORE HEALTH: "Restores all Hit Points, bringing the target to full health. Also cures Blindness, Sickness and Insanity." Hm, maybe . . . never mind. Um, it doesn't say wasting disease. But the temple DOES fix that. Dunno.

No, Sazerac, "Exorcism" don't work, till now i didn't found a situation whrer it does anything.

But after giving a donation in the temple, the prist gave me a cure-potion, that worked.

At the Toadem shrine, one of my characters got diseased by Scabban's Evil.
The toadem cured him but took away two of his 5 bonus hit points because of "wasting disease"!!!

(I re-loaded & played more carefully, healing them as they got sick)

I think Great Heal may cure disease, but it might only be for nausea...not sure.

AFAIK, the only cure for any of the diseases in the game is the 6th level Vine spell, "Cure". "Exorcism" (7th level Spiritcraft) may work, but I've never tried it for this.

In previous posts I mentioned that I thought attributes drained by wasting disease were restored at curing. That does not seem to be true, so don't ignore your disease for too long.
