What *would* be the cause, Tormentor? There are so many.... religion, politics, land, etc. To destroy them all would be a great error. Imagine the uproar if they destroyed Bethlahem and Jerusalem? Imagine what would happen if we destroy the religion of Islam... There is no one cause. If we kill the symptoms, the other symptoms might learn a lesson... thereby leaving the cause.

I might not be the best person but i think i have to say, first off i dont think this post is a good idea, some will side with tormertor, some will go on the other side, do it might get a bit rough, no one wants that and it really isnt good to criticize one's a country in front of its people, 'cause as its citizens it's our duty to protect its dignity in all grounds. Nothing productive might come out i suppose except harsh feelings

Not only do we give plenty of coverage to your predicament, but i even if some of us do choose to act superior we deserve a little leeway for covering your a$$es in the 40's and then pumping billions of dollars into Europe. Dont you have any gratitude?

Just look at Ziroc's thread, he and many others of us care plenty.

I agree with parts of each argument, but I'd rather not side with either. I also think that this thread is turning into a really bad idea, and I reckon that soon enough there will be a stop put to it to avoid any more arguing...bets, anyone?

well,i kinda hope something happens in europe, and the leaders of europe ask for America's aid. then i hope America denies said aid, simply because unless we are helping YOU, we are wrong, we are immoral, we are not justified. the responsibilities that America has to deal with as a "super-power" are immense. and to say that we "whine" about the world trade center? no, we should congradulate them and say "good job, you got us that time!!" psh, i say let the world rot, and we will see who still stands, and who begs for our help. ive said it before, and ill say it again; europe was MORE than happy when we got involved in WWII and saved your butts, but now that it is doesnt concern you, you condemn it. THAT is hipocricy, not our response to terrorism. hell, we let the incident with the USS Cole slide!! we did an investigation, and that was it. we didnt bomb, we didnt kill in response, we did NOTHING. America was hit HARD on September 11th. we are defending ourselves to our fullest. europe would do the same if another hitler attacked, and America would be the FIRST country they called for aid!!! its threads like this that remind me of why i dont want to visit europe!! (aside from ireland and scotland [img]smile.gif[/img] ) Aaustralia isnt europe is it? i thoroughly enjoyed my time in Australia!!!
