Nasher's Ring

In Undermountain the blacksmith is selling
Nasher's ring and you find out that it is one
of four items belonged to Nasher. What are they
talking about. I have been through that part and
he gave nothing at any time. This ring was given
to the Hero of Neverwinter. What have i missed
and what should i have done. After you kill Morag
the game is over and you never go back to neverwinter.
Has any one ever got any of these four items?

The four items are spread accross HoU in various different locations. Once you have all 4 equipped they will give you additional bonuses.

Having all the items in a set gives you bonuses? Are they decent bonuses?

Yeah they're good bonuses, but by that stage in the game you've likely got better items equipped anyway. I think the boots/ring/cloak/gauntlets become +7 items, rather than the +3(?) that they are alone.

Yow! Is it pretty much the same sort of bonuses with other sets?

You haven't missed anything in the original campaign, these four items are present in HotU only. Yes, the description of the ring states that it was given to the Hero in thanks for saving Neverwinter, but this is supposed to have happened after the end of the OC.

Oh... I just assumed there were, I guess, due to the mass quantity of them in Undermountain.

I just found two of the items in one place and will go back to the blacksmith for the ring. Expect to find the fourth item in the last possible place.

Speaking of weird items however, what do you do with the pearl of bashing. Found it rather impolitely in the illithid colony.

The sets in EfU are custom by Z. They don't give any bonuses at this time, AFAIK.

The Pearl of Bashing has something to do with an easter egg, I believe. IIRC you get some sort of message if you insert it into the bridge control machine by the Beholder Caves, but I don't know the ins and outs of it.
