Never had that problem. Since I was five I've always had an obsession with mints. Anyway, long story short, I always carry a packet around, and keep a spare crate in the boot of my car (right next to the Baileys', funnily enough). Try those Jila ones. No need to freshen your breath, they simply sear the top layer of your tongue right off.
