Some interesting news from the Premier League. There's no escape, Donut!

LONDON: Mark Viduka combined with fellow Australian Harry Kewell to score a sensational winner as nine-man Leeds United defeated Arsenal 2-1 in the English Premier League at Highbury for the first time since 1994.

Lee Bowyer and Danny Mills both saw red but goals from Ian Harte and Viduka gave the visitors all three points in this battle of the Premiership pretenders.

Sylvain Wiltord equalised to make it 1-1 before halftime but after that Arsenal were unable to break down a determined Leeds.

This fixture had produced 40 yellow cards and two red in six previous encounters, so it was no real surprise that the latest encounter featured 10 yellow and two reds.

Despite the flurry of bookings the first goal of the night came from a dead-ball situation after Arsenal midfielder Robert Pires tripped Danny Mills on the edge of the box.

With the wall slow to form in front of England goalkeeper David Seaman, Leeds full-back Harte fired home a fine 25-yard free kick that caught the Arsenal defence completely unawares in the 29th minute

But the London club showed their resilience to equalise just two minutes later when England full-back Ashley Cole's cross was headed in by diving French forward Sylvain Wiltord past Seaman's England deputy, Nigel Martyn.

All square at halftime, Leeds regained the lead nine minutes into the second-half, with Viduka's shot from the edge of the box proving just too good for Seaman.

With so many players yellow-carded by over-worked referee Jeff Winter it was inevitable that someone would eventually see red.

Leeds' Bowyer and Mills duly went for an early bath in a frantic final 13 minutes.

Bowyer, booked for an earlier foul on Lauren, received his second yellow when he tripped Cole.

Then Mills, who had a running confrontation with Cole throughout the match, appeared to foul him. To make matters worse he then kicked the ball against his England team-mate to make his expulsion a near formality.

Aww...I want to play!

Australia 66 for no loss in the Fifth Test at the Oval. Where's Davros when I need him most?
