The Balduran Items - Please Help

I keep reading about the various Balduran items, although I have only found the helm. Where are the shield and plate found please? Are there any other Balduran items out there beyond these three? Much obliged...

Theres his butterknife, journal ,cloak and 2 versions of his sword

The shield, plate, and sword are only available from the bonus CD merchants. You can download them from: http://www.bgdungeon.com

One of the merchants is in the Adventurer's mart in Waukeen's Promonade and the other is in the Copper Coronet in the slums.

The Cloak of Balduran is not available (legitimately) in BG2.

It was in Bg1 and its probably the best cloak giving -1 ac no restrictions with magical armour and 35% magic resistance

They should make it so that if you have all the parts you get some sort of bonus i know thats a bit like Diablo2 but still it would be cool

Cant remember who said it originaly but some strange berk thought we should get loads of exp for sleeping with other charecters

The old Balduran items are just leftovers from BG1. You will find a ton of BG1 specific items in BG2 if you are checking using SK. They are not available legitimately in the game.

Thanks for the responses folks. I have a question about the bonus merchant items that can be downloaded....is it true that if you are already into a game and download the bonus merchants, that they will not appear? But if you download them and then start a fresh game, they will be in the game? My understanding is that the first time you enter the "shops" the game checks the game files, where you have downloaded the bonus merchants, and ergo they would appear. But after that first time into the shop, the game checks your saved game files and doesn't see the new merchants, just the merchants and items that were there last time you were in the shop. Is this correct? (sorry for the convoluted description

)

If this is all true above, my primary game which I'm close to finishing will not benefit, but my new game (evil monk) will. What are the good monk items, if any, out of the bonus merchant stuff?

Artemis, I don't know who told you that, but in my game, they simply appeared as soon as i installed the files

I hope that it will work for you as well....only one way to find out: try it!
